These pens hold new-born calfs. They are separated from the rest of the herd a few hours after birth.

Since all the hotels and motels in and around Monroe were booked for CheeseDays, we had to stay in Freeport, IL, home of the "Tower of Plates".

Freeport was also the site of the most significant debate between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas.
